Silence is Golden...?!?!?!?!?

Well I got back yesterday from a silent retreat...(ok mostly silent). The time was well needed and was a great time to reflect and to process what I'm about to get myself into. During the 36 hours of silence I did realize just how serious a two year commitment is....and it kinda scared me. Today is Friday I leave MONDAY!!!! well things are going well here. kinda slow and back in the grind but im definetly getting ready. Tonight I have my one on one, so please keep me in your prayers. I really have no reason to be nervous, but hey you know how that goes. To all of you my faithful readers. I want you to know how much I love you and appreciate hearing about your days as well. Please keep it up....
i'll be sure and write again soon, but i have to go for now until then. Peace

Man, I'm a day late and a dollar short. Well, seems like you have a lot to digest, hopefully you aren't overwhelmed. I worry about you saying that you just realized the commitment of two years. Just remember how fast your four years of college flew by. If you ever get lonely just get online, or try to call one of us no matter the time of day. It sucks not having you here, I took the time we had together for granted thinking there would be more, I'm sorry that I wasn't more available to you, but I will commit myslef to this blog and try to update you on the goings on in CO and my life when I can. We had a small pool party on Saturday. Mom and Shan and the kids came to hang out, I finally used my new grill, it's great! The party was fun...the best part was playing fetch with the kids. My friend Bill was throwing the frisbee and they would chase after it, of course Madison always came back with it boy or girl, she faught til the death to bring it back. Apparently she's the Rottweiller in the family! Who's shocked? It was fun, they were TIRED when they went home. Friday I am flying on the corporate jet to Wendover UT for the company picnic at that plant. I am looking forward to it since I've been here a year and haven't met anyone at that location. I've offered to bring my famous Baked Beans, those folks in Wendover are in for a treat wouldn't you say!? Well, I hope you enjoyed your trip yesterday...don't knwo when I might expect to hear from you. I will get the number shannon refers to and try to contact you sometime. I love you little brother. I pray that you are happy, not sared, or nervous about the commitment you have made. We are all so very proud of you and the strength you have shown in pursuing this endeavor. I love you, I love you, I love you!

P.S. Did anyone tell you I am raising Zed - well Jack as I call him now? Mom has to pay me child support. She and I are still negotiating terms. Love U!!!!
